CatVideoFest is a joyous, communal theatrical experience featuring the latest and best cat videos, while raising money for cats in need through partnerships with local charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters. CatVideoFest is committed to raising awareness and money for cats in need all around the world, and each CVF event’s charitable component is local. Since 2019, CatVideoFest has raised over $1 million in financial contributions and have facilitated adoptions, fostering, volunteer sign-ups, and much more. IU Cinema’s CatVideoFest 2026 screening supports the Monroe County Humane Association (MCHA). Since 1956, MCHA has embodied hope and compassion for animals and their human companions throughout Monroe County and its surrounding regions. With a legacy rich in heartfelt service and impactful change spanning more than six decades, MCHA steadfastly remains a sanctuary of support, kindness, and proactive care for animals in their most vulnerable times.

1. Want to see your cat on IU Cinema’s big screen? So do we! Submit photos of your feline friends by August 19, and then be sure to arrive early for CatVideoFest 2026 to see patron-submitted cat photos during our pre-screening slideshow!
2. Discover how else you can support MCHA by visiting the Monroe County Humane Association website and see the myriad ways you can be a part of helping their mission!
3. Get creative! We will have CatVideoFest coloring pages on hand before our screening for folks who want to arrive early for some kitty-inspired craft time. You can also download CatVideoFest coloring sheets here and decorate at home!
