The Oscars shorts return! Catch the 2026 Oscar-nominated live-action short films on the Cinema's big screen ahead of the Academy Awards on March 15.
IU Cinema is delighted to once again present a big-screen experience for the Oscar-nominated short films. The live-action line-up will run 119 minutes and includes:
Butcher's Stain – Meyer Levinson-Blount, 26 min, Israel (in Hebrew and Arabic)
A Friend of Dorothy – Lee Knight, 21 min, United Kingdom (in English)
Jane Austen's Period Drama – Julia Aks and Steve Pinder (IU alum, B.A. '11, English), 13 min, United States (in English)
The Singers – Sam A. Davis, 18 min, United States (in English)
Two People Exchanging Saliva – Natalie Musteata and Alexandre Singh, 36 min, France and United States (in French)
