We’re bringing ’em back! See the 2026 Oscar-nominated animated short films two stories high at IU Cinema ahead of the Academy Awards on March 15.
IU Cinema is delighted to once again present a big-screen experience for the Oscar-nominated short films. The animated line-up will run 83 minutes and includes:
Butterfly/Papillon – Florence Miailhe, 15 min, France (in French, Arabic, and German)
Forevergreen – Nathan Engelhardt and Jeremy Spears, 13 min, United States (no dialogue)
The Girl Who Cried Pearls – Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski, 17 min, Canada (in English and French)
Retirement Plan – John Kelly, 7 min, Ireland (in English)
The Three Sisters – Konstantin Bronzit, 14 min, Israel/Cyprus/Russia (no dialogue)
