For All the Children

Explore grassroots efforts in China, Guinea Bissau, and the Central African Republic to ensure that children can go to school with the film series For All the Children. Each title demonstrates ingenuity, entrepreneurship, and hopefulness, while offering indelible glimpses of extraordinary determination, loyalty, and beauty. Our purpose is to initiate discussions about the ways that access to schools and learning varies around the world and to raise awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goal #4 (quality education for all). IU Books & Beyond explores non-traditional, open-source publishing approaches that can help to expand the supply of juvenile titles in underserved languages around the world. This partnership is supported through IU Cinema’s Creative Collaborations program.
