IU Cinema: Combining Film, Education, Research, and Professional Training
As a non-degree granting academic unit, IU Cinema's programs are designed to educate. With pre-film introductions, scholarly talks, masterclasses, mentorship sessions, and post-screening Q&As, we contextual, historicize, and illuminate the films we share while also providing access to industry professionals and other experts to offer thought-provoking ideas and glimpses into worlds different than our own.
Importantly, we cultivate learning opportunities both with and past our screen, opportunities that engage film culture and education that can be, but are not necessarily, connected to a film screening. Explore these programs - and more - below.
