A sci-fi sequel that flopped as a reboot, TRON: Legacy stars Garrett Hedlund as Sam, son of a returning Jeff Bridges’ Kevin Flynn. When Sam enters into a virtual reality where mythmaking is done in binary, he joins forces with embodied algorithm Quorra (Olivia Wilde). As they search for a way to return Sam to a material world, the film immerses the audience in The Grid, with mesmerizing visuals to match the scale of the exceedingly cool Daft Punk-helmed score.
