I Feel

Director: Ruby Berin  |  Music: Nehemiah Robertson  |  Supervising Sound Designer: Will Heilbraun

Loss is inevitable and the grief that follows remains a forever journey. Grief is not concrete… Grief does not have a clear, linear path… Grief is raw and real. I Feel is an experimental dance/poetry film about my journey navigating grief through physical expression and poetry. The goal was to make a personal film that resonates with me in a deeply powerful way.

The Basement Next Door

Director: Ellie Woytek  |  Music: John Tongzhou He  |  Supervising Sound Designer: Will Heilbraun

The Basement Next Door is a glimpse into the nuances surrounding the local music scene in Bloomington. The film aims to express the joy that comes from people sharing their love of music but also the harmful encounters that often occur. I made this film because I have experienced the comfort, community, friends, and sense of belonging that house shows can bring. On the contrary, I have also felt uncomfortable, unsafe, isolated, insecure, and unwelcome in many of these spaces.

The Space Between Us

As he spends nights gazing at the stars, he realizes that the wonder he's been seeking has been beneath his feet all along. Reconnecting with the Earth and the love he's ignored, he learns that true beauty lies both in the stars and in the people near him.
