Building upon our First Contact series—a collection of films exploring the initial convergence of humans and aliens—the Beyond First Contact series gathers a selection of stories about the enduring actions, inactions, and consequences of two worlds intermingling far beyond their introductory meeting. What happens when two civilizations collide and are forced to coexist or choose to race one another to extinction? The concept of “the other” is in the eye of the beholder and each of us is an “other” to another. What do we have in common? What divides us? Can we live in harmony or is annihilation inevitable?
