DJ Spooky’s Rebirth of a Nation is the second event in Wounded Galaxies 1914—1968, a series that highlights collage, détournement (shifting things from their original context to give them new meaning), recombination, and radical political aesthetics in the 20th century. Events are sponsored by The Burroughs Century, Ltd., College Arts and Humanities Institute, The Media School’s cinema and media arts program, The Media School, Cultural Studies Program, the Black Film Center/Archive, and IU Cinema.
