What exactly was in the water in 1984’s Hollywood? If you take a look at all of the films released that year, more than two dozen of them are without question considered some of the world’s favorite movies of all time. Universally beloved cult classics, award-winning comedic and dramatic masterpieces, and seminal volumes in blockbuster action-adventure franchises—1984 had them all.
