National Theatre Live People spoil things; there are so many of them and the last thing one wants is them traipsing through one’s house. But with the park a jungle and a bath on the billiard table, what is one to do? Dorothy wonders if an attic sale could be a solution. Frances de la Tour takes the part of Dorothy in her third new play by Alan Bennett at the National following The History Boys and The Habit of Art. She is joined by Selina Cadell and Linda Bassett. (2K DCP presentation)

The National Theatre aims constantly to re-energize the great traditions of the British stage and to expand the horizons of audiences and artists alike. Through these broadcasts, it shares its work with audiences in the UK and abroad. In partnership with IU’s Department of Theatre and Drama, IU Cinema is ‘testing the water’ to see if there is an interest in these encore broadcasts here in Bloomington. IU Cinema is now only the second venue in Indiana presenting these programs.
