Paired together for the first time onscreen in a romantic comedy, Doris Day and Rock Hudson hit it out of the park. Uptight interior decorator Jan Morrow (Day) and playboy composer Brad Allen (Hudson) are forced to share a telephone party line, whose calls overlap at the least convenient moments.
