The 800 Mile Wall highlights the construction of the border walls along the U.S.-Mexico border and their effect on migrants trying to cross into the U.S. This powerful documentary is an unflinching look at a failed U.S. border strategy many believe has caused the death of thousands of migrants and violates fundamental human rights. The film documents the ineffective results of a failed border policy but also offers thoughts on how the current human rights crisis may be resolved. The post-film screening discussion will include Peter Guardino, Professor, Indiana University Department of History; Director, History Honors Program. (Digital Presentation)
