CatVideoFest returns to IU Cinema! CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. CatVideoFest is a joyous communal experience, only available in theaters, and raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations, and shelters to best serve cats in the area. IU Cinema’s CatVideoFest 2022 screening supports The Ranch Cat Rescue, whose mission is to provide a safe environment to foundling felines and help cats in need become adopted into loving forever families. The Ranch assists with TNR (trap, neuter, return) work in the Bloomington, Indiana, community (and beyond), advocates for cat welfare, and helps to educate the public so together we can work to save the lives of cats and kittens. Since its founding in 2020, The Ranch has helped more than 200 cats find a safe landing place.
Want to help The Ranch cats and kittens? On the day of the screening, you are invited to bring new and gently used cat supplies to IU Cinema for donation, such as dry or canned food, clumping litter, toys, beds/blankets/towels, and laundry detergent.
