About Dawn to Despair - "The Dilemma"

Costa Rica, 1931. Fausto Porras founds the Bakery Workers' Union and joins the Communist Party, much to the growing resentment of his wife Margarita, whose cousin Abelardo is also a member of the Party. When Abelardo is expelled for allegedly embezzling funds, he joins the police and persecutes his former comrades. Ordered by the Party to set a trap for Abelardo, Fausto faces a fraught choice.
