About High Fidelity
John Cusack is Rob Gordon, the owner of a semi-failing record store located on one of the back streets of Chicago. He sells music the old-fashioned way—on vinyl—with his two wacky clerks, the hysterically funny rock snob Barry (Jack Black in a star turn) and the more quietly opinionated underachiever Dick (Todd Louiso). But Rob's business isn't the only thing in his life that's floundering when his longtime girlfriend Laura walks out on him, forcing him to examine his past failed attempts at romance the only way he knows how. [113 min; romance, comedy; English]

"Few films capture the healing power of music or the harsh reality of love & break-ups." — Charlotte Harrison, Charlotte Sometimes Goes to the Movies
"High Fidelity is an extraordinarily funny film, full of verbal and visual wit. And it is assembled with immense skill." — Philip French, Observer (UK)
