About The Prom
When an Indiana high school student is denied bringing her girlfriend to prom, her story grabs the attention of three self-centered Broadway veterans (Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, James Corden) looking for a cause. This star-studded musical comedy, based on the Tony-nominated Broadway hit, follows their hilarious and heartwarming attempts to advocate for inclusivity in a small, conservative town, ultimately uniting a community in celebration of love and acceptance. A virtual Q&A with Chad Beguelin, co-writer and lyricist of the Broadway version of The Prom, and Spencer Pride President Jonathan Balash will follow the screening.
