About When a Stranger Calls + The Sitter

A retired police detective (Charles Durning) hunts a deranged British seaman out to re-create a baby sitter's (Carol Kane) horror. The film will be preceded by The Sitter (directed by Fred Walton in 1977), the short film which led to the feature. [119 min for both films combined; horror, thriller; English]

A Q&A with Greg Sorvig will follow this screening. Sorvig leads the artistic vision and film programming department for Heartland Film and its Academy Award-qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festival and Heartland International Film Festival (HIFF) events in Indianapolis where he serves as the organization’s liaison with major studios, industry, and filmmakers.
