About Screamers

Based on Philip K. Dick's 1953 short story "Second Variety," Screamers takes on Dick's themes of societal conflict, confusion of reality and illusion, and technology turning upon its creators with the story of primitive machines of war that evolve into self-replicating, sentient killers who turn on their humans and threaten the safety of an interplanetary system already devastated by war. [108 min; sci-fi; English]
