About Minority Report

Based on the novella of the same name by Philip K. Dick, Minority Report transports the detective thriller to a futuristic Washington, D.C. where police utilize the psychic abilities of three PreCogs to arrest and convict criminals before they commit their crime. When the unit undergoes a review by a skeptic from the Department of Justice (Colin Farrell), its leader John (Tom Cruise) is accused of the future murder of a man he hasn't even met—and clearing his name will uncover truths he can't yet imagine. [145 min; sci-fi, thriller; English]

"Ferociously intense, furiously kinetic, it's expressionist film noir science-fiction that, like all good sci-fi, peers into the future to shed light on the present." — David Ansen, Newsweek

"It’s colder and more calculating than much of Spielberg’s oeuvre, and is all the better for it." — Wendy Ide, Times (UK)

"The visionary quality of Minority Report's cinematic world is matched solely by its endless influence on both film and real-world technology since its release." — Brian Eggert, Deep Focus Review
