Since the early 1980s, Austrian Peter Tscherkassky has been finding new ways of seeing old material, heavily reworking found footage through optical printing, editing, and darkroom techniques to craft singular, often haunting cinematic works. This selection of more recent films features his latest, and longest, film, Coming Attractions , which reworks disparate source material in an attempt to think through the links between entertainment and the avant-garde.
