Winner of the Grand Prix at Cannes, the film is a richly detailed, stunningly shot investigation into both a murder and the human condition.  A group of men set out in search of a dead body in the Anatolian steppes, where the other side of every hill promises something new, and a possible end to their quest.  Over the course of their journey, everyone in the group learns something about the others, and about themselves.
