by the Third Reich. In 1948, an American judge presides over the trial of four German jurists accused
of “legalizing” Nazi atrocities. As graphic accounts of their actions unfold, mounting political pressure
for leniency forces the judge to make the most harrowing and difficult decision of his career. The film
was nominated for eleven Academy Awards®, and boasts brilliant performances by a cast that includes
