When ex-GI Jerry Mulligan (Gene Kelly) remains in Paris to pursue life as an artist, he is discovered by a wealthy patroness interested in more than his art, but soon three friends find their lives complicated when two of them fall in love with the same woman. This sparkling musical showcases the incomparable Kelly with the lovely Leslie Caron amid the glorious melodies of George and Ira Gershwin. Harriet Newman Leve is an alumna of Indiana University and producer for the new Broadway production of An American in Paris.
