Based on the true story of the Von Trapp Family singers, this Rodgers and Hammerstein musical stars Julie Andrews as Maria Rainer, a young woman who is unsure if she wants to be a nun. At the advice of Mother Abbess, Maria becomes a governess to the seven unruly children of a retired naval captain, and life as she knows it will never be the same.
