Shimu, 23, is a textile worker in a clothing factory in Dhaka, Bangladesh. After a co-worker is killed in a fire at her factory, Shimu decides to start a union with her co-workers, fighting for employee rights. Despite threats from the management and the disapproval of her husband, Shimu is determined to go on.
