In episode 1, “My Least Favorite Year" (53 min.), The Morning Show team has to recalibrate in the aftermath of Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) commandeering the broadcast and calling out the network’s complicity from the top down. A year later, Cory (Billy Crudup) shows up on Alex’s doorstep with a tantalizing proposition. In episode 2, “It’s Like the Flu" (52 min.), Alex’s rocky return to The Morning Show includes Bradley’s three-week “sick-out” as the team’s kickoff dinner erupts into confrontations, apologies, and mixed levels of forgiveness as everyone tries to reconcile the past and find their footing in the new landscape of the show.
