Change the Subject  tells the story of a group of students at Dartmouth College, whose singular effort at confronting an instance of anti-immigrant sentiment in their library catalog took them all the way from Baker-Berry Library to the halls of Congress. This documentary shows how an instance of campus activism entered the national spotlight, and how a cataloging term became a flashpoint in the immigration debate on Capitol Hill. This partnership is supported through IU Cinema’s Creative Collaborations program.

Curated by Scott Libson and Kumiko Reichert, with support from IU Cinema, IU Libraries Diversity Committee, IU Libraries, Department of Information and Library Science, The Media School, and La Casa.
